Random comic!

I'm having a white-ninja sense of humor today. Actually, this came up in a conversation with a co-worker, and for some odd reason, it played out in my mind like this. I love when whatever you're reading or watching integrates into your life. It's like watching your own sitcom.

My webcomic has been more autobiographical of late. I'll leave the reader to determine what really happened and what happened in my mind.

More bodily functions...

I was in a meeting where someone joked that they'd vomit if the presentation didn't go well. The threatenee said, "oh, I'm sure I'll get an earful if it doesn't go well," to which the threatener replied "oh, you definitely will.. of vomit! I'm going to aim it at you!"

I'm not a big fan of coding in pairs, and this particular configuration, which I like to call "conjoined twin mode" certainly doesn't help with the awkwardness of it. If I may draw an analogy, it's like splitting the wii remote between two players, which I've also done, and has resulted in very awkward gameplay.

I started a new project at work last week. So far, I've sung "I'm a little teapot," dressed as a baby, and did various combinations of sit ups and push ups during meetings. They kept telling me, "Seriously, we'd prefer it if you just started doing the work we need you to do on this project," but I have my principles.

For those of you who check this blog every week instead of waiting for facebook updates, you might have noticed that I didn't post last week. I was on vacation in Napa! I don't have any pictures, but here's a composite sketch based on various witness testimonies.



I think I drank more olive oil (samples) than actual wine. Also, I think vineyards might be good for OCD people who like things to be in really nice, neat lines.

For pi day last year, I went out with some co-workers to eat pie and recite the digits of pi in the parking lot. This year when I extended the same invitation, a few of them said no, citing the pi-digit-reciting part as their reason of rejection. Since when did pi become NOT cool???

On a side note, I got a little tipsy at a company party a couple weeks ago where they happened to provide a karaoke machine and sang "Welcome to the Jungle," completely shocking my department. I was quite glowing from all the positive feedback I got until the next day when I looked at the video someone took of me and I saw that without sound, I looked like I was rapping.

Sadly, this is true

I would actually never, ever do it, for fear that I would accidentally adjust for emotional inflation twice. It begs the question, is it better to freak out too much, or too little?

Sorry, guys, there have been crazy storms this past week and my internet went down, so no comic this week... here's a list of activities I've managed to do in the past 4 internet-less days!

-did the dishes
-cooked some food
-cleaned the bathroom
-made some cheese
-ice-sculpted with a chainsaw
-tested out various flavor combinations until I discovered the recipe for Coke
