On a random note, I actually got to meet Jorge Cham, of Phd Comics fame. It turns out he's the husband of one of my co-workers, and he was selling comics at a table at a holiday bazaar (this information floored me). As a general rule, I am intimidated by people who are cool. Our interaction was a little bit like the following:
My glasses actually fogged up from nervous sweat. I didn't even know that was possible!
